01How much does auto detailing cost in Ottawa?
Our packages start at $70 for a Basic detail on a sedan at our garage. Premium starts at $160 and Elite at $240. Mobile service (we come to you) starts at $130. Final pricing depends on your vehicle size (Sedan, SUV or Truck), the package, and whether you choose garage or mobile. The booking calendar shows your exact total before you confirm — there are no hidden fees and we quote you up front.
02How long does a car detail take?
A Basic detail takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, a Premium deep clean around 3 hours, and an Elite full detail roughly 4 hours. Heavy pet hair, deep stains, strong odours or salt build-up can add time. If your car needs extra attention, let us know in the booking notes so we set aside the right amount of time.
03What is the difference between mobile and garage detailing?
With garage service you drop your car at 5495 Boundary Rd in Ottawa and we detail it on-site. With mobile service we come to your driveway anywhere in the Ottawa area. For mobile work we just need somewhere to park plus access to an outdoor tap and a power outlet — we bring everything else. The work and standard are identical; mobile pricing is a little higher because we bring the shop to you.
04Do I need to leave a deposit to book?
Yes — a $20 deposit confirms your booking and is paid by e-Transfer to signatureshinedetailing613@gmail.com. The remaining balance is due at the time of service in cash or e-Transfer. The deposit is refundable as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment.
05What areas around Ottawa do you serve?
Our mobile service covers Ottawa and surrounding areas including Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven, Nepean, Stittsville, Manotick, Gloucester, Gatineau, Aylmer and Hull. Our garage is at 5495 Boundary Rd in Ottawa. If you are not sure whether you are in range, just call or text us and we will confirm.
06What do I need to provide for mobile detailing?
For mobile service we need a place to park your car and access to an outdoor water tap and a standard power outlet. That's it — we bring all the equipment, water tanks, soaps, vacuums and products. If you can't provide a tap or outlet, book the garage service instead and we'll handle everything here.
07Can you remove road salt and winter stains?
Yes. Our winter salt removal flushes the underbody and lifts the white salt stains out of carpets, mats and door sills, with a neutralising treatment that breaks down salt residue rather than just hiding it. In deep winter our heated garage is the best option for a full underbody flush. We recommend at least one salt treatment mid-winter and another in spring.
08How long does ceramic coating last?
Our ceramic spray coating lasts far longer than traditional wax — typically several months of strong water beading and UV protection, depending on how often the car is driven and washed. It's applied over a freshly cleaned, decontaminated exterior so it bonds properly. It's included in our mobile Elite package and available as an add-on from $80 on any other detail.
09What are your hours and how do I book?
We're open Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. The easiest way to book is right on our website — pick your package, vehicle, date and time using the booking calendar, then confirm with a $20 e-Transfer deposit. You can also call or text us at (613) 619-0421 to book or ask a question.
10How do you accept payment?
The $20 booking deposit is paid by e-Transfer to signatureshinedetailing613@gmail.com. The remaining balance is due at the time of service and can be paid in cash or by e-Transfer. Card payment is coming soon. All our prices are in Canadian dollars and quoted up front with no hidden fees.
